What is a downtime?

A downtime is what your character is doing in between games. It can be as simple as looking for a good place for a haven ( a home for vampires to rest during the day) or investigating some sort of info your character got during the last game.

Your downtime is broken up into several parts, the first being whatever personal actions you wish to take during the month. You have as many personal actions as you have resolve dots.

Example: Videl has 3 resolve dots. She can take 3 different personal actions that month. For her first action she helps the Ordo Dracul with some occult research into mages. For her second action she researches a rare ritual she wants to acquire.
Her third action goes towards feeding.(FYI always a good option to spent one(or two) towards feeding if you have nothing else to do.)

Retainers (If you have one) also get ONE action that they can do for you, if you dont have time that month to get to it. For example Videl may be to busy with her occult research to go talk to the street rats about people being picked up off the roads, but she can send her retainer to go do it for her.

You will also spend XP on your Downtime for your character, if you so wish. Please make note that devotions, rituals, and coils outside the red book (Vampire the Requiem) usually can not be simply purchased, but will need approval and time spent "learning" or "discovering" it.

Example: Videl wants to learn the ritual, drops of destiny, which is found in the Crone book. After storyteller approval she spends two downtimes (two months and two resolve actions) finding a teacher and learning the ritual BEFORE she is able to purchase it with xp.

Please note that the format includes everything, including a list of all the influences. Please delete what you don't have on your character sheet.
For instance I don't have allies or contacts. I remove both sections from my downtime.
